Welcome to Your Community, Your Forum, Your Website...

The Forum was established in April 1998 following a meeting of local residents who shared a common concern to ensure that local facilities were improved - against a background of derelict shops and a palpable fear of crime and focused on the needs and welfare of the wider community, incorporating improved youth provision and quality of life for the large elderly population.

Meet The Board - Photo

Meet The Board

Though the forum is a democratic member based organisation, it holds free access public meetings 10 times each year, excluding August and December. In order to function efficiently, a small executive body has been formed to enable decision making to be effective and speedy. The board meets regularly but sometimes it is necessary to convene at short notice to enable decisions to be made which facilitate the efficient working of the organisation.
